Day 1
Transfer from Airport to hotel, Meet and greet dinner, Hotel accommodation. Day spent at your own leisure.Day 2
An acclimatisation day as we get used to the bikes and riding conditions, we head out of Phnom Penh to Kirirom National park, where we stay the night (optional stop off at shooting range possible)Day 3
Leaving Kirirom we join the winding ox-cart track through Aural National Park to Sophat. We spend the night here in a traditional village house.
Day 4
Riding along a challenging jungle path and crossing numerous rickety bridges through Araing and Thmor Bang, we enter the Cardamom Mountains. After a fun two days of “Dancing Roads”, we take a breather in the coastal border town of Koh Kong.
Day 5
Either ride the jungle trail through bamboo groves and rocky inclines to a set of river rapids or spend some time at your leisure during a well-deserved rest day around the town and on the beach.
Day 6
We begin the first leg of our journey through the Cardamoms, along the most extreme trail Cambodia has to offer, until we reach O’ Saom. This isolated village is completely cut off from civilisation during the rainy season is completely self-sufficient, with its own homegrown fruits and vegetables and freshwater supply. Villagers also report the occasional glimpse of wild crocodiles. Here you have the option of either camping out or staying at their own guesthouse.
Day 7
We continue our journey along the trail to Veal Veng, another remote village where we stop for lunch. Leaving Veal Veng, we ride the ox-cart track to Pramaouy through sand, dirt and clay and head to Pursat for the night
Day 8
We leave Pursat and ride the back roads to Kompong Chhnang town. Here we can leave the bikes for a while and explore the floating village of Kompong Luong.
Day 9
After an off-road adventure that rivals the best, it’s a final day of off-road biking as we detour via the ancient capital of Oudong and back to Phnom Penh for a shower, farewell dinner and some well deserved beers!
Day 10
End of Tour. Day spent at your own leisure and transfer from hotel to airport.
